Making Things Up FAQ

Q. How do I purchase this album?
A. Follow this link to my bandcamp page. There, you can listen to the whole album and purchase the tracks individually or the album as a whole.
Q. Isn't it available through iTunes or Amazon? Can I order it through my local record store?
A. Short answer: no. Long answer: This album is self-released, so big-box retailers like iTunes and Amazon won't touch it. And again, since I'm putting this out there myself, there will be no physical copies, at least not initially.
Q. Why no physical copies, exactly?
A. Basically, I'm not expecting high sales numbers, but I do anticipate interest from individuals both near and far. Digital distribution is simply the easiest, most reliable method at my disposal. It doesn't hurt that it's an increasingly popular option, either.
Q. How much does this album cost?
A. $13 for the whole thing.
Q. Your music is worth way more than $13. Can I pay you much much more than that?
A. Absolutely! The payment system is set up so you can decide how much you want to pay for the album. $13 is merely the minimum.
Q. Your music isn't worth $13. Can I pay considerably less for the album?
A. No. I'm sorry you feel that way. You are free to listen to all the tracks on the bandcamp site, however. If you find yourself returning time and again to listen to the album, or if you use nefarious means to illegally acquire the album, it probably actually is worth the 13 dollars to you, and you should reconsider your hard-nosed stance against paying me for it.
Q. Will you post the song lyrics?
A. Again, on the bandcamp page. You should really head over there, already. For each song with lyrics, the lyrics are posted along with all the other track information.
Q. What about song charts/transcriptions?
A. Um, I'll get back to you on that one. Is that all?
Q. I'm the one asking the questions here, bub.
A. I'll take that as a yes.
